Automatic Shutdown Program
I am looking for a program that will shutdown my machines automatically each night. I have tried dozens and I cannot seem to find what I need.
The program needs to be freeware. It needs to run each time Windows starts. I need to be able to set a specific time for the machine to shutdown. I have found programs that do these things individually but none all at once. The tough one is finding a program that will launch each time windows does. In case you're wondering, I'm not lazy. These machines are dedicated folding boxes and do not have any peripherals attached. I simply want to hit power in the morning and have them shutdown each night on their own. If anyone can find what I'm looking for, I would be much appreciative. TIA

Have you tried using something like: http://www.slawdog.com/products/smartsd/index.htm
The features state having a command line utility, that you could probably autorun at startup |

Good choice Statica. It does nearly everything. It does indeed load at startup, but it doesn't save the Activated Timer. Works like charm if I open it and click on Activate. But I need something that will work without any interaction once its setup.
If anyone can find this, I would be much appreciative. TIA

I have this program named switchoff. I'm looking in the program options and it allows you to run the program as a system service, run it at Windows startup and start with timer enabled. See if this program will work for you.

Zelira, thank you so much. That is exactly what I've been looking for. I loaded it up on my machines and it has worked like a charm.
