Cannot load ASUS Probe

This morning, i started up my computer and it wouldn't load to desktop normally. First, after the Asus load up screen, it would give me the option to load in safe mode or the last known good configuration. That happens if it didnt shut down properly. I did shut down properly last night...

So i start it with the last good know configuration and it loads everything fine, until Asus Probe starts. Then, the whole screen just shows my desktop without any icons. The start bar on the bottom of the screen is missing too. I can't do anything. THe only thing left is a pop up that says, "cannot load Asus Probe from shell"...whatever that means

I try to restore to before i installed the beta Nvidia drivers 77.76, but it said that it couldn't, even though it didn't have any problems with it before. I just uninstalled Asus Probe and anything i installed yesterday, which was only SBC self suppost tool. I'll restart and post whatever i can

Btw, im in safe mode right now and here are my specs

Asus A8V deluxe MB, AMD 64 3200, 1GB Kingston Value DDR PC3200, 6800 Ultra, SB LIVE 5.1, and the 77.76 drivers

I uninstalled the 77.76 drivers and it didnt help, the Asus Probe, nothing either. I tried reverting to a point past yesterday and it couln't do it...so i reverted to the earliest point yesterday and BAM, i can load it now. I'm suspecting that it's one of the updates that might have been installed yesterday. Reason is that i see the Windows notification to install updates at this moment and i never saw the download process...i have the temptation to install them just so i can know if it was that...i really want to know what it was! I'd like to hear any opinions. I'll appreciate anything...it's a free education for me
