Dual Monitor: Full screen app on one, web on other?

---This involved a software issue, but deals with the hardware as well---

Well, I recently decided, "Hey! I have two monitors and a videocard that supports two, so why not use two?!"

My though ran deeper then that though, with my intention being on able to play a game(Diablo II for example) in either full screen or windowed mode on my 2ndary monitor, while having my other applications on the main monitor.

Diablo II can do a window mode with the "-w" flag after it's target in on a shortcut, thus making it run in a smaller 800x600 window with my current resolution for each monitor being one step up from that(1024x768? I forgot) The problem is that if I click anything outside of the game, it will downsize into the Taskbar. This is a problem since I mainly need to know what is going on, but I can't since it is downsized.

Is what I am looking for possible? At the moment, it is more for the fun then the practicallity, but I assume someone here will be able to tell me if I am fighting a lost battle or not.

Specs are in my sig.

Thanks for any help.

Games can only be played on the primary monitor (unless they specifically have dual monitor support). And yes, the game will minimize if you try to click out of it.

It may be possible to run the game in a small window rather than fullscreen, but it will run like a dog.

Even when in Windowed Mode the game downsizes though.

Well that doesn't sound like the best news. I kind of figured though. Thanks.
