A Screenshot of what ?
Windows ? -> PrtScr key (or ALT + PrtScr for active window) DirectX game ? -> Via extra software. . .or sometimes the games themselves have a screenshot function Video ? -> Playback Software RJ

Pressing Print Screen copies the screen shot to your "clipboard". They you paste it into Word, Paint, Photoshop, etc... and save it.
