some pdf files- not saveable ?
Am I going nuts or wasn't it possible to save pdf files from the toolbar of Acrobat Reader? Not any longer ?
I have uninstalled version 7 and installed old versions like 4 and 3 but the save command is not there. To save .pdf files that you open on some sites involves finding it in a Temp folder, and saving it from there, while it is still open. Is this caused by the particular site that has the files or by Acrobat ? Is there any other pdf reader ? |

I have Save A Copy both on my toolbar and in the File menu (version 7.03). The File menu also has Save As Text.

OK- I'm there now. Had to download W2k SP4 before the Adobe site would let me download Reader V7. Why should they care about what service pack I have. Curious- Acrobat V3 is 3Mb and V7 is 20Mb. I worry about these monopolies.
Thanks ! |
