Does anybody have...

A telephone number for Norton Symantec Support?
Or perhaps a forum like this one dedicated to Norton users?

Here is what happened.

For some reason, my Norton 2003 system turned off the Auto-Protect feature. I cannot turn it back on. I went to the Symantec wbsite, and after all the clicking and searching and logging, I found out they no longer "support" anything older than 2004.

I appreciate any help you guys can give.

Mark

Best advice that I could give is to ditch (uninstall) Norton and install AVG free edition and not have to worry about the support. It works better than Norton, IMO and uses less resources.

Mariving,

I recently tried AVG, and the next thing I know, I picked up a bunch of spyware and other viruses. I could not get rid of them and finally had to reformat everything and do a reload.

Maybe I did something wrong.

Symantec

Priority Care 800
1-800-927-3995 Charged on a per incident basis. (I have no clue how much that would be)

Priority 900
1-900-646-0033 Charged on a per minute basis. (Once again no clue on cost)

Hope that helps you and good luck.

paniolo, that issue is usually resolved with a live update or a reinstall.
