too many firewalls?
hey guys,
im using the "hardware" firewall that came with my mobo (Asus A8N-SLI) and im also using the Seagate personal firewall that i download as soon as i got the PC up. i have heard that you should only use one firewall and i've also heard that you should use at least two firewalls. which one is correct and why? thanks, -MakeYourslf2012 |

Two firewalls is usually overkill.

I was using 2 firewalls a while back because the free stuff didn't handle everything I wanted it to. Now, I'm down to just using kerio. ZA 4.5 and sygate seemed to corrupt the winsock or TCP/IP stack on every one of my personal machines, so I'm not sure what's going on there
So, I ditched them for kerio, and it's actually working much better than either of those firewalls.
