unkown format
I'm downloading this game off a torrent site and it's in a .mdf format. What do I do with this ? Also a .toast.bz2 format as well.

it's an image (like .bin and .cue)
use a program that handles iso files like this one. I usually just mount the images on a virtual drive (i use daemon tools ) * I hope when you say "downloading a game" you don't mean "filesharing pirated software"*

I checked the rules and it says nothing about talking about it as long as u don't post it. Mabye i'm wrong. If I knowen this I wouldnt of asked or Would of worded it in a diff way.

Incorrect nokiafan... talking about it in any way is disapproved on, except in a general type of way (ie. discussing the issue of piracy, rather than actual applications). We refuse to help anyone carry out piracy, as you'll discover if you read the forum rules a little more carefully
