software removal ???

I hope I am in the right place with this question.

I had and recently sold an Olympus camera and want to remove the software from my hard drive.

The program is "Olympus Camedia Master 4.2" and is 116.0MB in size.

When I go into the control panel change/remove and click on the file, I just get a blink and no action. There is no un-install in the software files.
Before I just go into Windows Explorer and delete everything there, I thought I'd better ask the experts.

What do I need to do?

Thanks

No luck !!

I also tried my System Mechanic Pro un-install program and it's still there.

What would happen if I just going into Windows Explorer and select all files and do a delete from there?

Pros:

Cons:

Thanks again

If the program itself does not have an uninstaller, and the program can not be located on the Add/Reove Programs list, then your chocies are one of the unistaller programs which I do not have experience with personally, but should be better than a straight Windows Explorer - File Delete.

Pros- Well it is gone, mostly, see cons

Cons- there are registry entries that will be left behind which are the hardest to detect and delete manually and shorcuts scattered around which are pretty easy to delete, but having said that and spent about 15 minutes searching for a way to delete it on google I am beginning to believe that the delete the files method may be the only choice remaining.....

What operating system are you using on the PC? Windows version....

I have had good results with these two "MyUninstaller" from www.nirsoft.net scroll down the page a bit it is there, or "Easycleaner" from toniarts http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/R...yCleaner.shtml Easycleaner has a built in uninstaller as well as a few other usefull utilities.
