I have built a new PC in the past couple months and installed my Photodeluxe HE from Adobe that I had on my previous PC. The program has worked OK under XP until three days ago, and now all it want's to do is freeze. What in the h**l makes a program do this? Any suggestions on how to fix this problem other than reinstalling the software. It has been known to do this on the previous system, as well. It would be nice if someone from Adobe is reading this post. Thanks for any help and insight anyone can give.

Do you do frequent virus and spyware scans, defrags, and disk clean ups? I would personally save any files created in it to a back up folder, and re install.

Have you checked for updates to your software? Some products have had difficulty running on XP SP2 and need a patch in order to correct problems.

Photodeluxe lockups
I use AVG antivirus and do frequent checks with it, and Spybot S&D for spyware. I got the patch from Adobe when I first installed the program a month ago. Things have run fine until now.
