Boom computer is useless

Hello people , Just got a computer from a kid beeps powers up, all is okay untill you try ro run any programl,lots of error message's insufficient resources ,no response from control alt del...........went through this about a month ago with this kid and told him I believed the computer was infected with who knows what........ formated reloaded software etc set up AVG computer ran fine ,two weeks later same garbage again ........format load Win XP no problems ,on the internet download xP updates a snap,untiul he has it for about a couple of weeks..............

Any suggestions ?????????

Sounds like he is loading it up with viruses and or spyware and probably all kind of useless things in the startup folder.. What did you find when you looked at it??

After it boots and goes into winXP you can't get it do do anything !!!!!! I format reload XP ,install AVG go on the inter net and its fine

The kid must be going to some questionable sites. You may need to install some spyware blockers like SpywareBlaster and the Microsoft Anti-Spyware to keep the computer from getting so messed up.

Ask him what sites he goes to, and tell him that is probably causing the problem. If its something questionable that might scare him enough into stoping what ever he is doing.

Have aadaware and spybot and spyblaster plus registry cleaner told him to use all .This is the second time its happened and I explained to his mother about questionable sites . I don't think hes being honest with me or her

Might not be porn sites, although that's a likely suspect. Downloading music/videos from free P2P sites is another likely source. Those are the two biggest contributors I've seen on machines I've serviced. Had you seen any evidence of P2P programs in previous cleaning you've done, Al?
