outlook 2002 "connection interrupted"

I have a sbcglobal yahoo email account. Within the last week when I check my email, I get the following error message..............

"Task 'pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: +OK 12291 octets''

My send/receive detail shows that I have email and that it goes through the process of downloading the emails. I created a new profile but receive the same message. I try connecting using my dial up at home and also from my network at the office and receive the error message either way.

ok...I change the key from 1 to 0 and reinstalled outlook express. I disabled my antivirus and firewall (eeekkk!) and still get the same error.

ok............it is apparently Norton Internet Security and Anti-Virus 2004. I had to completely delete it. Now using Trend Micro Pc-cillin and it works just fine.
