Help with Outlook

Every time I open Outlook it fails to receive email. I found out that it is changing my incoming mail server to localhost and adding what was under incoming mail server to user name. Example(the correct way):

Incoming mail server: Onlinemac.com
User Name: 12345

(The wrong way that it is every time I open it)

Incoming mail server: localhost
User Name: 12345/Onlinemac.com

My goal is to find out why it keeps changing and get it fixed. Oh, by the way, It happens on 2 of the 8 computers on our home network. Both XP PCs.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Just an idea but did you use the email account wizard to set up the accounts. You have to tell it to look on the internet for the server. I dont know why it keeps reverting to localhost but perhaps the wizard will correct the problem it worked for me.

That was some improvement it did not change when I closed and opened Outlook while the computer was on, but when I turned it off, it went back to "localhost".

Thanks for the attempt.
