Any Peachtree Gurus?
Two problems with Peachtree at my employer's office. 5 machines networked with one acting as the Peachtree server. None have Internet access. One machine was recently reformatted from 98se and a clean install of XP Pro done (by me) and a fresh install of Peachtree 2003. That machine will not access the customized reports that were previously made and stored on the server. All other pc's have access to these forms. The built-in "reports" show up in the menu for things like Accounts Receivable but not the ones that our staff created. The drives are mapped the same as other machines and our company profile opens fine. I can even browse to the forms in question thru the network, just can't make them appear in the Reports menu.
Second problem. One pc will not use the printer that is attached to it as the default printer with Peachtree print commands. Instead it has defaulted to a networked printer. All other printing goes to the correct default printer just not in Peachtree. Each time we need to print a Peachtree doc on that pc, the operator must select the printer she wants or it will print in another office. Coincidently, this same computer shows two previous installations of printers that are no longer connected to this pc. I've tried to delete them but I get a message indicating they are not found on the Server. Not sure if this is a permissions issue. |

1) Is there a setting for reports where you set the path to point to there server?
2) Is the printer that is attached set as default in control panel- printers?
