Sp2

Can anyone say if SP2 is safe and bug free now. I have avoided doing the updates for that reason. Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you,
Mary

It's a good idea to install SP2 if you haven't already done so. I have installed SP2 on countless machines and only had one problem on a machine that was infested with spyware. Make sure your system is clear of spyware before you install, and you should be fine.

Of course, if you use any atypical software, you should check with the makers to see if there is an issue with SP2.

The SP2 is still the same as it was when it was released a year ago (or whenever it was). There's nothing different about SP2 than it was back then. It's always been safe, and never been bug free.

So, since it's safe, I recommend that you install it. Better too late than never
And don't worry about the bug free thing. No software is.
