Program for making MPEG files to MP3 or Wav?
Several years ago I use to use a program called "MusicMatch" for doing this job, but I don't have it on this particular computer, and thought I would ask if anyone knows of a free program out there for doing this task?
Thanks.. Dale |

MusicMatch is still available - they offer a free version and a paid version. Just Google it and you'll find it.
My personal preference is a program called CDex - it's leaner than MusicMatch and IMO does a better job of ripping CDs to mp3 or wav. But it's not a player/library like MusicMatch is. You might also consider iTunes from Apple - it's a quality ripper, player and library program like MusicMatch. It's what I use as my player and library program (I still use CDex to rip CDs) and I find it's controls and layout much nicer than any other program I've used.
