Pinnacle won't accept PAL avi's.
Ok, here is my situation. I want to import some avi's into Pinnacle Studio 7 so I can edit them. However, when I try to, it won't accept these particular avi's, saying that Pinnacle is not "enable for PAL".
Any suggestions on how to either convert the avi's to something other than PAL, or to force Pinnacle to accept PALs? Thanks. |

Studio 7 can handle both PAL and NTSC (I have Studio 7, too, and I've created both PAL and NTSC projects already).
What AVIs do you have ? Were they captured by Studio itself ? RJ

that's odd..
Well, I don't know much about .avi files. (that probably shows)
I found this: Audio: 384 kbps Video: Frame rate 25 fps Data rate 166kbps sample size 12 bit Video compression XVID That was part of the reason why I was confused about this...I thought that Pinnacle should be able to handle PAL, yet it says it's not enabled. *shrug* If there's anything else I can find about these avi files, just tell me how and I'll see what I can do. |
