AVI problem
I'm having an odd problem. Every time I try to view an AVI file, my computer restarts without warning. I've tried using different movie files and different players, with the same result. It also occur if I browse to a folder full of movie files and the display setting is in preview mode. Worst of all, if a web page has a movie built into it's home page, the problem occurs there as well (flash movies are fine). Any idea what this could be?

Is Automatic Restart turned on? If so, try turning it off so you can see any error messages, like from your vid card drivers or the like.
