Playing a movie (.wmv) file in Excel vba

Hi, Im not sure if i am in the right forum...i am new here. I am trying to use a command button on a user form in excel to initiate a movie to play in windown media player. does anyone know how to do this?

I have tried

Private Sub CommandButton12_Click()
CreateObject("WSCript.Shell").Run "C:\Documents and Settings\Richard.Richard-A2823C\Documents\InsertMovie.wmv", True
End Sub


but I keep getting a "run" method failed compiler error message.

Does anyone know what could be wrong or where I could find a knowledgebase on this? I have been searching the web but can't find the right thing. Thanks!
