Acrobat killing me

One of my classes my teacher has put all of our readings online as PDFs. Everytime I go to print, it comes out STRAIGHT BLACK ink. Sometimes it will work, but most of the time it will just come out black.

This is killing me and my ink cartridge.

I can't find out why it's doing this. I printed a document and it worked, printed another and pure black. I don't think anyone else in the class is having a problem.

Does anyone know why it's does this or if there is an alternative to printing? Some sort of a conversion? I will be forever in debt to you.

When printing the document from Acrobat Reader, try selecting the "Print as Image" option in the print properties. I've seen this option correct some very strange printing issues in Acrobat.

Hope this helps,
