Audio crop and fade

I need some quick help. I have a song I need to burn onto a CD for tomorrow. One of the tracks I need to crop and have fade out. I've only got Windows Movie Maker for editing software. I can import the audio track and crop it. But I don't know how to make the clip fade out at the end. Please help.

Movie Maker won't do that to an audio track. Get Audacity - Google it.

Ok I figured out the fade thing. But how do I crop off the end of the song after that point? Cuz it just leaves the part after it in.

Ya I figured the deleting and fade last night. But it won't let me export as an MP3. Which I need to do to put it on a CD because only Audacity uses .aup files.

Audacity can save to wav and/or mp3 - either will work to burn to CD.
