Try this site out:
Lightstar There are a lot of great free themes and instructions on how to implement them (link to free UXTHEME.DLL patcher included). Another good site is www.themexp.org. Also: www.tgtsoft.com StyleXP www.windowblinds.com WindowBlinds Both the above are full featured windows theming and skinning apps. You have to buy them though.

Theme's Win 98-ME etc...?
This may sound like I'm new at this but then again I am at trying to get Theme's on my CP. Can Theme files be extracted from one's disc's that have the OS on them if that version had some from Microsoft? I would like to try this out if possible I have been told and not sure of ME having the theme's on it. I have a cd of ME and just never up graded the machine to it. Been happy with 98 se. Just a side thought of the Theme's for XP question.
Thanks Chuck

windowblinds - they offer a free version over at http://www.wincustomize.com ~ i have use stylexp and didn't really like it very much. i love window blinds. (I am a paying member over there, and have paid for object desktop which includes window blinds, and they are delivering a new build next tuesday, beta for those who are object desktop subscribers, that will have lots of new features, such as taskbar transparency/window transparency as that seen in windows Vista.... so i don't know how far along stylexp is getting.. my vote is to go with window blinds.
but, in regards to what pillainp said, there is a free version of window blinds, it just has fewer things to it. it is like $20 to buy it, but you're better off buying object desktop package, which is more expensive, but will get a ton of programs from it which is well worth it here's a screen of what i have right now using products from object desktop from wincustomize (including window blinds):image Last edited by Statica; 10-05-2005 at 10:16 AM. i assume you mean my theme, eltoroh.. it is what my computer looks like - it is a theme off of wincustomize.com for windowblinds. all the other programs i use are also from wincustomize.com. the dock at the bottom is object dock, the meters/volume are desktopX, the calendar is rainlender, the trash can is part of a vista icon suite i have for icon packager. (the aol bar was part of an AOL beta suite - that's for aol members only)
