Outlook / Yahoo doesnt send 1 meg and over attachements??

my dad has the problem that when he tries sending attachements over 1 meg it doesnt send (outlook 2003). he is using yahoo.de, anyone know any reasons? the webmail can send up to 10 megs

Most ISP's place a restriction on the size of attachments. Outlook doesn't care about the size...

Yahoo's attachment size is 10megs so it sounds like you are possibly timing out, check your settings to see what your timeout is set to, here is a quote from Yahoo, "With Yahoo! Mail, you have the ability to send and receive messages up to 10MB in size."
