Strange Problem
Hello folks,
I'm having a very strange problem so I can't seem to solve. When I double-click a video file the media player opens for a few seconds and then disappears. This happens with every media player and only happens to video files (audio files play fine.) This also happens when I click the desktop icon to play a game (game starts to load, then closes.) I can't figure out what would be causing this problem, any ideas? Thanks |

What kind of computer is this? Home built or name brand?
What are the specs? What OS are you using? Have you scanned for viruses, spyware, trojans or hijackers yet? Cricket

Thanks for the response.
The computer is home built with an Asus K8V SE Deluxe, AMD 64 3200+, 512MB RAM, and Windows XP pro. I've scanned for viruses, spyware, and have zone alarm running. Is there something else you would suggest scanning with? Thanks for the help.
