Alternatives to MSN Messenger
I just got a new computer and downloaded MSN messenger. It is not what I like. It has all these stupid crap that I will never use, like winks and nudges and animated little thingys and doodahhs... i just hate it. I like something simple, maybe with some emiticons and that will work just like msn messenger, ie being able to talk to people with @hotmail.com accounts. If someone could direct me to a program that is what im looking for that would be awesome

All the instant message programs have that junk, AIM, Yahoo, haven't tried google messenger, but I assume it has it too. MSN is my personally favorite and Trillion allows you to use all your IMs together.

This lets you encompas all your Instant messenger together and use them through one program. I have a few friends who use it, but I personally don't feel the need. It probably has some features you dont need, but looks cleaner than MSN Messenger. |

Msn 6.2.0208
I don't like msn 7.0 either, so it sounds like 6.2.0208 is the solution. Still MSN, but with out all those features msn 7.0 has.
