Free HDD to DVD Backup Utility
Hi, a friend of mine is looking for a free utility that will facilitate moving large amounts of files (MP3, JPEG, Word Documents, etc.) onto DVDs for archival. I've searched the forums and found a lot of references to DVD ripping and Acronis, but nothing that was nice, simple freeware. Does it exist? Thanks.

How about the burning software that came with the burner? Most packages allow for simple drag and drop from Windows Explorer, I use Nero Express in exactly this way with CD's.

That's a nice list in Statica's link. Here's a link to SyncBack with is nice backup utility. They are going "pro" and v4.x costs, but they still offer v3.x for free.
