Trying to edit unknown file extensions
Hi, hoping to get an answer here:
I have a video that was taken on a video camera that writes directly to a mini DVD. I have transferred all the files to my harddrive from said DVD. Is there a program I can use to do some editing and possibly convert to a more widely used format to email to people? When I click on any of the extensions it autoplays the video to a "start screen" that displays a screen shot of all the video segments (approx 15 segments). I can then choose to play any segment. When I browse the folder it lists the following extensions: .BUP .IFO .VOB When I play the video, WINDVD is the program that is launched and plays it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

there are lots of program that can do what you wanted. DVDx and ISOBUSTER comes to mind; both are free programs that convert(rip) .VOB to mpeg2 video, which is a common video format.
