ArmyKnowledgeOnline eLearning

For those who might be familiar with AKO and eLearning:

I am currently deployed in Iraq and am having problems accessing the registration page for eLearning although I have thus far been able to navigate the rest of AKO with no difficulties.

I have javascripting enabled in security and popup blockers turned off. This is also the case with my Norton security.

A browser scan by AKO stated that javascripting is "unspupported" although I can access other jacascripted pages on AKO.

I tried to download java 5.0 unsuccesfully and apparently have to manualy load it.

Any suggestions? Why would I have to download java if my machine already can access other javascripted pages?

Is there another security issue that could be blocking me?

My machine is an off the shelf gateway notebook with XP Home, Norton security, 60g hard drive, 512 memorr, and Pentium celeron processor.

And ideas will be appreciated. Mods please feel free to move this if it is in the wrong forum-

Nope you're in the right place.
I think your problem is with Norton's and it's similar to something that happens with the Apple iTunes download and regsitration page but I have no experience with AOK.
If my guess is right try quitting Norton's (briefly!) before you access that page.
If it works then you know Norton's needs to be reconfigured.

Java and Javascript are 2 different animals. Installing Sun Java will do nothing for you.
