Can you install .iso files without burning to CD?

Can you install .iso files without burning to CD?

Any of you heard of something like this?

You might be able to if you have a program like Alcohol 120%. You can create an image drive or something like that, don't remember the term, but I used it before for that I think.

What excatly is it you're trying to do? We don't give advice on things that would be illegal.

Use Daemon tools, its free and does just that.

My friend sent me the HL2 disk 4 of installsion in ISO form. Hes at college in another town so I couldn't get the disk (mine is scratched).

Thanks guys I'll try Deamon Tools.

If your CD is damaged and you now have an .iso, why not burn the .iso so you have a complete set again? All you have to do is open it in your CD burning software as an image.

I too was wondering about this. Thanks for the tip! I just finished watching a Hamlet DVD I ripped as an ISO file!
