Greetings,
One of the features I really liked in MS WORD 6.0 was the ability to search for a file by actually viewing the files as you search. You would go to "Find File" on the Drop Down menu and the feature would come up. You would simply scroll throught the files and the highlighted one would appear in the window. Does anyone know how to do this in current Versions of Word??? Thanks, Jack

In the Open dialog box, click on the Display properties and then click on Preview. I've attached a picture showing what it looks like.

Yes. The current version 11 (word 2003) has the same find option. You click "next" and moves down to the next place it finds the word. Can also Finad and Replace.

Only differece I see is the view pane is not adjustable. Can't scroll right or left either. Jack
