Outlook e-mail question:
I know I've had this problem in the past too, but I've forgotten the fix, but a friend of mine sends her e-mails as per normal, but when they arrive to me...where there should be a picture, there is the sizing of where the picture should be, and within it a box with a big "X" in the box on the left side.
In the last e-mail sent today, when looking at the Properties, it was only 18k in size, so I'm assuming the pics are not being sent...or attached for some reason from her end, so I thought I would ask what can be done to take care of this issue? Some time ago some folks mentioned that this same thing was happening when I was sending out e-mails, but I've now forgotten what I did to fix the issue. I DO have my security set up, where I get the message: "Some pictures have been blocked to help prevent the sender from identifying your computer. Click here to download your pictures". Usually I just click on this, and the pictures appear, but with regard to this particular sender, I get no pics, just the text. Thanks in advance for any advice/comments. Dale |

Try looking under Tools > Options, then the Security tab and see if there is a check to allow / disallow potentially dangerous things from opening.
