Same Nero...more bells and whistles!

Been using the version of Nero that comes with LiteOn burners for a few years now. Today I took the plunge and bought the full version of the latest release, Nero 7. Already used it to slipstream Win2K with SP4 and XP Pro with SP2. Still lots of reading and playing to do. Heck of a lot more options than the oem version!

I saw the new version at Best Buy two weekends ago; had a good special going on with rebates but I didn't buy it. I've been a Nero fan since the very early days, but had so much problem with V6 that I don't even use it anymore.

After you use it for a while, why not post a "review" ?? I might switch back.

Ey, PR, do it. Post a review, do it (Good old Starsky and Hutch)

I'd be interested in knowing about these extra features especially, I've been doing a bit of burning lately

Actually I would be curious about the additional features too PR. I don't know what else I would need in Nero, as I've never been using it and thought, "I wish Nero could ____________ ". Even just a brief listing of the additional features and a rating on how useful/valuable they are would be fantastic.

Don't you love being voulenteered to write a review?
Thanks,
Stryker

Cool, I have recently started using Nero since I got my Lite-ON burner and I love it! After coming from a two year OEM version of Roxio it is great! It does everything I need it too but I have always wondered what the retail version offers over OEM.

& till PR comes back with his droll commentaries in favor of Nero (he's just waiting for the cheque from Ahead to clear) here's the listed new features. Zdnet has a review here: http://reviews-zdnet.com.com/Nero_7_...-31520827.html
What was worrisome is the 4.2 user rating it got here: http://reviews-zdnet.com.com/Nero_7_...tml?tag=uolist

Now back to u PR.

Hmmm, ZDnet's review is a little confusing to me, with the "The Bad" items they list, they still give it an "8" !??

I'll wait for PR's review (just a little jab, not a punch )
