lost cd key
I just installed Norton Firewall on my computer, and then when I tryed to install Antivirus I discovered that I lost the cd key. Is there anyway around this, or to recover the key? Im not trying to spend 50 dollars more. Thanks

Try running Belarc Advisor. I'm not positive but it may show the license number.

Get rid of Norton. You'll be a winner.

jollyjohn - possibly true- but that is not what mac451 was asking.
Mac451- how did you purchase the software? If from them via internet then do you still have the e mail confirm with the key? Failing that - which version do you have? The newer ones have activation like Win XP and perhaps through the symantec help you can retrive it from them. http://symantec.atgnow.com/consumer/...sultType=5000# Failing that - all I can offer is try seeing if you can still get the old version locally, with the release of the new I have seen the old one for free after a bunch of rebates.
