Photoshop CS2 vs Photoshop Elements 4

I just wondering. What's the difference between those two software? Besides the cost of course.

Primarily Elements is missing layers, alpha channels and paths and I think 16 & 32bit editing?

MacMedic is right as far as I know. Elements is the stripped down consumer version of Photoshop. TI has a streamlined "pretty" interface that appeals to the average consumer. It is still quite powerful though.
