Copy whole CD

I'm trying to make a flat copy of a program to my hard drive and i'm receiving the error FILE CREATION ERROR-DATA ERROR .I'm running windows XP Pro with no service pack

did you check if that cd works in another computer?

maybe it was wrongly burned

It may be copy protected - that can cause errors trying to do a straight copy.
