"Class not registered"
I am trying to help someone with a project in Windows Movie Maker. Whenver he attempts to import audio or video he gets the error, "Class not registered". This has happened with every video and audio file we have tried, even the sample movie that comes with XP. Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on here?

Try executing the following line on the Start -> Run dialog: regsvr32 %windir%\system32\qdv.dll Isn't Google amazing? |

I did Google it and I found that. What does the FireWire dll have to do with adding audio/video files from the hard drive?
Anyway, I'll give it a try. |
