recording programs
any1 no a software to use for recording stuff with a microphone......me and my friends need to make a song for school and stuff........ i used the window recorder....,but i doesn't allow me to mix in a backround beat (music) b/c it is a mp3 fomat....... any1 can tell me a nice free d-load software or how to convert music from mp3 to .wav formats??

i use audacity, its a free program on the net lets you export as an .mp3 or a .wav

Yup, Audacity is the way to go for free editors. I use for everything that I do.
