defining a program for a specific user.

I want to define a short cut to program for a specific user, I think it's .ini file but not sure if it's in the user profile or the program .ini anyone any ideas?

Could you be a little more specific as to what you are trying to do? Your description is a bit muddled.

Sorry
I have a program set up on my machine, what I want is that when a certain user logs onto my machine, they can access and load up this program, however there version of it will run different to mine

Whether you can do that really depends on the program. Some you can customize for different users, some you can't. Some use INI files, some use the registry, some use their own proprietary files. What program is it?
