Hi AACM -
Welcome to PCMech.
Firstly, what Operating System are you dealing with here?
Secondly, is the changes in time random? For example, if you set it at 9PM and it changes to 2am .. does it always happen with a 5 hour difference? If you set it at 10pm will the time on the next boot become 3am? If it is very systematic, then it is possible that you're setting your time to the wrong timezone. Double click on the click on the taskbar, select the TIME ZONE tab and change it to the correct one. Now set your time correctly.
If the changes in time is random, then your motherboard battery might be dying and needs to be replaced .. it's a fairly simple procedure, more details about your hardware (motherboard) should help us give you more information.

Chances are it is the timezone settings, I had the same problem.

The solution flew right over my head and I figured it out in only 2 months

Thanks guys I really appreciated your inputs. Yes I change the time zone and even I gave setup for dayline savings. The clock changed after 1 hour since I make the corrections. Also I running Windows 2000 Pro, updated. When I boot change just today the time gave me ok until few minutes (30minutes) since I restore and starts falling 10,15, 20 minutes behind, so I think is the battery is dying like Statica said. TIMEZONE is OK and bios time is ok so obvious I think is time to replace the battery. Don't you think?
Thanks
