Plug 'n Play OS?
In the BIOS there is a selection for Plug 'n Play OS? (Enabled) (Disabled)
I'm probably not too far away from thinking in one the BIOS configures the parts in your PC and in the other the OS does it. What exactly does this mean and what difference does it make? Should it be enabled or disabled?

If it is enabled, then the BIOS only initialises certain things and lets the OS do the rest. This, however, is not always foolproof and I personally don't understand why it's an option.
I always leave mine to disabled or "no" because then the BIOS initialises everything, though I have to admit I've never had a problem either way. |
