Are there any limits or differences between the Microsoft Office Academic Pro Edition 2003 from the regular version?

No difference in the software. The only difference is the license. You can only use the academic version if you are a student or a professor and you cannot use the software for any commercial work.

Ok I am a student. SO the software is fully opened, no hinderences?

How can they limit you from using the software for commercial works? Is there like a watermark on it or anything?

there is no watermark; you can actually use it do commerical work, no probs.
the only limit on academic version is that one has to a student or teacher to buy it (but I saw non-academics buying it in COSTCO, err, maybe he is a teacher, but the cashier didnot ask for id, so I guess anyone can buy a copy...wink wink) and there is no UPGRADE PATH for it, meaning you cant upgrade to a new version....but who cares, right?

This is a violation of the License Agreement. Use it for commerical purposes if you want, but it is illegal to do so. Will they ever find out/care? Probably not, but it is your choice.
