MS Word Question
Doing the family Christmas letter and I drop a 200k photo in the doc and it suddenly becomes 8-10 megs. Have done the Christmas letter for several years now and don't know why this is happening. I even used the original jpg image (1.3megs) and its still 10 megs. This will be used for e-mail and does not need to be print quality. Using Office 97 on WinXP.
Thanks Randy |

also, make sure you use Insert picture in menu and not drag and drop.

As alfie2 said... also make sure you're not saving it as an .rtf (Rich Text Format) file but as a .doc
