media player 10 not working

I've been having troubles with trying to get media player 10 to woek. Every time i try to open it the hour glass shows up and then it says that its not responding. I also have real player and that freezes when i try to open it. Any thoughts on this? Can you suggest a reliable mediaplayer that doesn't crash and is reliable? Thanks in advance- Chas

if you have a sound blaster card, there creative media sourse isn't bad.

Waldo's MCI video file player is a small tool to watch vids. I cant find it online, but would be happy to send it to you. Its only 500kb. Just get me a email address.
