the first and third entry on this page (http://www.filext.com/detaillist.php...&Search=Search)
both describe what you could have. if its a karaoke file, you will need some type of karaoke burning software, i don't know of any personally.

if its the keep-it archive, you will just need to un-archive them and there should be standard audio files inside

And Google finds...........

http://midconverter.com/kar.shtml

http://www.filetrial.com/convert/kar2wav.html

Once it's in .wav, any burning software can make an audio CD with it.

HI Thanks Glc i also found a few programs but each one had a limitation like only
60 sec conversion for the trial etc..., in the end i used winamp with the file writing plug in it worked quite well.

Thanks again

glad to hear you got it working. i didn't mean to leave you hanging, i left for vacation, and i didn't have email/internet access (which was a nice change).

do you have a link to that plug-in, my buddy got his sis a karaoke player for christmas, and she wants audio backups to listen to in regular cd players

thanks
