Norton ghost 10 and hard drive image
I have purchased Norton Ghost 10.0 and have heard people talk about imaging a hard drive to a CD and using a Ghost boot floppy to copy one hard drive to another. Can anyone tell me how to make an image of my hard drive that will fit on a CD? Maybe it's there, but I haven't seen it in the software. I tried the recovery point deal, but it created a file that is 23 GB large, it didn't compress anything. Any help to my probable oversight is appreciated.

How much data do you have on your drive? If it's more than 1.5 GB or so, there's no way you will be able to fit it on one CD even with compression.
The best thing you can do is to create an image that is broken up into CD-size chunks and burn those files to CD. |
