Boom best "lite" notepad replacement?

hello, im looking for a "lite" or "simple" notepad replacement. ive got ultraedit for intensive work.

your suggestions on simple text editors would be great for me to look at ;x

You might also have a look at Note Tab Light, from Fookes Software. Its got a lot of features, including built-in editors for HTML, CSS, etc.

EditPad is very simple and much more powerful than NotePad.
