Question Diappearing Reader

Happy New Year!
I have
Adobe 7.0 and It keeps disappearing!
I have to constantly reinstall. When I do, I works for a while, where
I am able to view .Pdfs but then It stops functioning!
I do virus scans every two hours and check for spyware daily.
Any thoughts????

Thanks,
Jack

The biggest problem 7 has is that it seems to be constantly searching for updates and trying to install stuff like Yahoo toolbar. Turn off the updating.
