dvd burner question
hey there i have a question about dvd burners. Having never used one until yesterday i know nothing about them. My question is can i convert a file in wmv format to a format i could burn to a dvd-rw and than watch on my dvd player.

The answer is, it depends.
WMV files can be burned in another format if they aren't copy protected and yes, you can burn them to dvd-rw disk. However a stand alone player, if it's one of the older ones, may not be able to read dvd-rw disks so if you have any doubts dvd-r disks would be a safer choice.
