Red face A Question About Power Point

I received a CD created with Power point containing important images I would like to save to my hard drive. Unfortunately, I don't have the expensive software needed to access the CD and I don't want to buy it! does anyone know of any way to transfer the images from the CD to my drive for free?

I'd like to thank Moondog for helping me. Downloading Power point Viewer allows me to view the presentation. I would still like to copy the images to a format allowing me to print and share with others. Anyway Thank You Moondog!

Here are a couple of options:

Ask for re send in PDF format
Screen print each slide and paste into a word processor, chop the screen's start bar and the viewer's menu for a finished look
Ask some one who has both powerpoint and the abililty to create PDF's to convert for you.

What about screen captures? Irfanview is free and does a decent job of that.

Here is one for you.....openoffice!

Download and install the Windows version (free) of openoffice (http://www.openoffice.org/. One of the primary features of Openoffice is it's ability to open (and edit and save and etc) MS Office documents this includes powerpoint. Also, you can save the document you open to a PDF (or a whole slew of other formats)

Thank You Open source software!
