error message

Not sure if this is the correct spot of the forum but here it goes.


I just built a computer using WinXP. I get this message after startup:

cle.exe- the application failed to initalize properly (0xc0000135). click on ok to terminate the application


what and why am I getting it and how do I get rid of it? thanks

The only thing installed on your computer is XP?

When you mean after startup is it once you get to the desktop? I'm trying to do a goole search for any reference to that type of message...

just xp and updated drivers and such. It appears right after windows loads up and at the desktop.

It might have been a bad install. I would do it all over again..... The only reference I get doing any search points to the Windows meaid player 10.. If you have it installed, try to unistall it reboot and see what happens

Are you using a genuine WinXP installation CD or a burned copy?
